Frontend Developer (AngularJS)

Tezza Business Solutions Limited, a leading multinational software quality assurance, testing services, and IT solutions provider, is recruiting a skilled Frontend Developer (AngularJS) on a contract basis. Tezza operates across East and West Africa while cultivating specialized engineering talent to support enterprise pipelines in the North American and European markets.

This mid-to-senior level contract role is fully remote within Lagos, Nigeria. The Frontend Developer will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining highly responsive, scalable web application interfaces. Operating within an Agile team structure, you will collaborate with backend developers, UI/UX designers, and product owners to translate complex layouts into clean, high-performance client-side code.

• Location: Lagos (Remote)

• UI Development & Maintenance: Build, scale, and maintain clean, semantic, and modular user interfaces utilizing AngularJS frameworks.

• API & System Integration: Partner closely with backend engineering teams to integrate RESTful APIs and handle seamless asynchronous JSON data payloads.

• Design Implementation: Translate complex UI/UX wireframes, Figma mockups, and design system prototypes into maintainable, interactive client-side code.

• Performance Optimization: Diagnose and resolve front-end bottleneck issues, maximizing application speed, rendering latency, and cross-browser responsiveness.

• Code Standardization: Participate in peer code reviews, contribute to testing structures, and maintain strict version control baselines across the front-end ecosystem.

• Agile Sprint Participation: Join routine technical sprint planning sessions, stand-ups, and architectural discussions aimed at refining overall development velocities.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.

• Professional Longevity: Minimum of five to eight (5–8) years of active, hands-on industry experience as a dedicated Frontend Developer.

• Core Technical Competencies: Proven expertise in AngularJS alongside deep proficiency in vanilla JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, semantic markup, and advanced CSS3.

• Data & Architecture: Thorough mastery of responsive layouts, cross-browser compatibility mechanics, RESTful services, and JSON data parsing.

• Tooling & Environments: Working knowledge of Git version control systems and standard Agile scrum development environments.

• Preferred (Bonus) Qualifications: Functional understanding of modern Angular (v2+), client-side build utilities (Webpack, Gulp, NPM), testing libraries (Jasmine, Karma, Protractor), state management protocols (NgRx, Redux), or styling frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind, Material Design).

• Interpersonal Assets: Strong attention to layout details, proactive debugging mindset, and fluent collaborative communication patterns.
