Sales Team Lead

Iknorbert Communications Limited, established in 2012 as a premium distribution channel for ICT, mobile technology, and consumer electronics across the African continent, is recruiting a Sales Team Lead for its expanding subsidiary in Ikeja, Lagos. The Sales Team Lead will manage and coach a team of sales representatives, drive field acquisition activities, and implement strategies to meet regional sales targets and ensure excellent customer service.

• Team Supervision: Supervise, mentor, and coordinate the daily field activities of sales representatives to maximize their performance.

• Performance Tracking: Monitor individual and team sales targets, identify performance gaps, and implement corrective action or on-the-field coaching.

• Customer Service Excellence: Oversee client interactions to ensure high-quality customer service, swift conflict resolution, and strong brand representation.

• Sales Execution: Actively participate in high-value sales negotiations and support the team in securing key distribution accounts.

• Reporting: Compile and submit detailed daily and weekly reports on team performance, field insights, and competitor activities to the Business Manager.

• Education: Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in any relevant discipline.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in sales supervision or team leadership.

• Industry Focus: Prior experience within the mobile phone, consumer electronics, electrical appliances, accessories, or solar industry is highly desirable.

• Technical Skills: Sound proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Language Skills: Ability to understand French is an added advantage.

• Core Competencies: Strong leadership, coaching, negotiation, and problem-solving skills; ability to work under pressure and consistently deliver on sales targets.
