Divisional HR Manager (Flour & Pasta Division)

BUA Group—a leading Nigerian Foods & Infrastructure Conglomerate—is recruiting a full-time Divisional HR Manager for its Flour & Pasta Division in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Serving as the strategic HR Business Partner to the Divisional Director and leadership team, this role oversees human resource operations, workforce strategy, performance management, community relations, and operational governance within a large-scale manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Advisory & Governance: Serve as HR Business Partner to divisional leadership, guiding line managers on policy interpretation, change management, and organization-wide HR administrative functions.

• Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage end-to-end employee recruitment, new-hire onboarding (document verification, medicals, induction), and coordinate third-party labor contractor outsourcing operations.

• Community & Operational Support: Maintain constructive relationships with host communities, oversee clinic operations and medical administration, and supply accurate personnel data for payroll processing.

Requirements

Primary Requirements

• Tenure: Minimum of 8 years of progressive human resources experience, specifically within FMCG or a large-scale manufacturing enterprise.

• Core Competencies: Process control proficiency, regulatory compliance expertise, community relations management, change management, and strong business acumen.

• Technical Literacy: Hands-on experience with HRIS and ERP platforms.

Education & Certifications

• Degree: B.Sc. in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field.

• Professional Credentials: Active HR certification (CIPM, CIPD, SHRM, or HRCI).
