About this role
Elizabeth Maddeux Limited is recruiting a full-time Junior Accountant for a client operating in the manufacturing (packaging) sector in Enugu. This role supports the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, processing daily transactions, and ensuring compliance with internal accounting procedures.
Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting: Record daily financial transactions, manage invoicing, payments, and receipts, and assist with bank reconciliations.

Reporting & Audits: Prepare monthly financial reports and schedules for management review while supporting internal and external audit processes.

Payroll & Statutory Duties: Assist with payroll preparation and statutory tax deductions where required.
Requirements
Primary Requirements

Tenure: 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.

Education: Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

Technical Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems (such as Sage, QuickBooks, or Tally). Knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations is an added advantage.
