Reward Specialist

Rand Merchant Bank (RMB)—a corporate and investment banking division of FirstRand Bank Limited—is recruiting a full-time Reward Specialist in Lagos. This role oversees reward, remuneration, job grading, and employee benefit frameworks to ensure market competitiveness, internal equity, regulatory compliance, and alignment with Group Human Capital policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Reward & Remuneration: Conduct salary benchmarking, analyze remuneration surveys, and manage annual review cycles, bonus allocations, and incentive scheme designs.

• Role Grading & Benefits: Oversee job evaluation methodologies, maintain job architecture data, and benchmark employee benefit programs.

• Governance & Cross-Pillar Support: Ensure compliance with labor legislation and Group governance while providing data analytics and operational support across performance management, talent, and workforce planning functions.

Requirements

Primary Requirements

• Tenure: Minimum of 6–8 years of experience in reward, remuneration, or broader Human Capital roles, preferably within financial services or a complex corporate environment.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or a related discipline (Postgraduate qualification in Reward or HR is an advantage).

• Technical Skills: Experience with salary surveys, role grading, reward analytics, advanced Excel, HR systems, and labor legislation compliance.
