About the Role
Koins Microfinance Bank Limited is recruiting a full-time Credit Analyst to evaluate the creditworthiness of SME and private loan applicants, assess credit risks, recommend acceptable collateral structures, conduct due diligence, and monitor portfolio performance.
Key Responsibilities

Financial & Risk Analysis: Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and financial data to assess client creditworthiness; evaluate profitability, liquidity, and leverage ratios to determine repayment capacity and recommend loan amounts, credit limits, terms, and conditions.

Economic & Regulatory Evaluation: Assess economic, socio-political, and regulatory factors that could affect the continuity or operations of borrowing clients.

Collateral Management: Recommend an appropriate collateral mix to mitigate default risk; ensure pledged assets are valued by accredited valuers and meet company collateral coverage standards.

Client Engagement & Due Diligence: Communicate with applicants to gather financial records, clarify credit report discrepancies, and conduct physical visits to business premises for advanced due diligence based on loan thresholds.

Portfolio Review & Reporting: Conduct monthly reviews of loan portfolio performance and produce management reports detailing collection efficiency rates for processed SME and private loans.
Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree or HND, preferably in Banking and Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics (other disciplines may be considered).

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Credit Analyst.
