Chief Executive Officer

Afrihood Development Company, a Lagos-based real estate development firm focused on delivering luxury and enhanced living solutions across Africa, is recruiting a Group Chief Executive Officer. Based in Lagos, this senior executive role will lead the operationalization and continental scaling of Afrihood’s "Hub-and-Spoke" model, manage multi-billion Naira institutional financial relationships, and enforce international quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Continental Platform Scaling: Lead the strategic onboarding and lifecycle management of regional Project CEOs across Africa, embedding local developments into Afrihood's operational, legal, and tech frameworks.

• Institutional Finance & Governance: Manage high-stakes relationships with multilateral development banks, sovereign credit guarantee bodies (e.g., Shelter Afrique, InfraCredit), and private credit desks while overseeing strict project escrow accounts and audit drawdowns.

• Supply Chain & Operations: Oversee the Central Procurement Desk to ensure 100% centralized sourcing of structural materials across active Lagos launches (Aize Court, Uresa Court, Zaphire Court) and future continental pipelines.

• Standards & Compliance: Direct triple ISO quality certifications (ISO 9001, 45001, 14001) across all operations and uphold brand DNA around sustainability, Industry 4.0, and integrated living.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: MBA or Advanced Degree in Finance, Corporate Governance, Project Management, or a related field from a reputable institution. Professional credentials (e.g., PMP, CFA) are highly advantageous.

• Executive Leadership Experience: 8 to 15+ years of senior executive experience (COO, MD, Partner, Senior VP) managing large-scale networks, real estate asset management platforms, or decentralized operations.

• Domain Expertise: Strong background in top-tier management consulting (ex-Big 4 preferred), structured project finance, or institutional investment banking with deep fluency in credit risk and institutional funding frameworks.
