About this role
Dangote Industries Limited—one of Africa’s largest diversified industrial conglomerates—is recruiting a Store Officer for its cement production operations at the Gboko Plant in Benue State. This full-time position handles inventory management, material verification, gate pass administration, store layout utilization, and SAP-integrated receiving/issuance workflows at the plant's central stores.
Key Responsibilities-
Inbound Inspection & Discrepancy Reconciliation: Receive incoming cargo/consignments, verify physical items against delivery waybills and Purchase Orders (POs), process Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), and resolve discrepancies with Procurement.

Store Layout & Inventory Management: Stack and organize materials according to designated layout guidelines, reconcile critical/insurance spare parts with user departments, and process faulty stock returns to suppliers.

Gate Pass & Cross-Dock Operations: Prepare and document gate passes for outbound material movement, track Stock Transport Orders (STOs), and post Store Issue Reservations seamlessly.

ERP Logging & Reporting: Input and maintain accurate receiving, inventory, and issuance records within the company's enterprise inventory system.

Education: B.Sc. or HND in Purchasing & Supply, Accounting, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Experience: 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in inventory management and storekeeping operations.

ERP & Software Knowledge: Working knowledge of SAP MM (Materials Management) is an added advantage; strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and computer-based bookkeeping required.

Core Competencies: Stock-handling procedures, space utilization, detail-oriented discrepancy reconciliation, clear communication, and team collaboration.
