Talent and Leadership Development Manager

Deloitte Human Capital Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a leading Nigerian diversified consumer goods company operating across modern retail, quick service restaurants (QSR), entertainment, and manufacturing. Founded in Ibadan, the firm operates a top national supermarket chain across Nigeria.

The Talent and Leadership Development Manager will design and implement enterprise talent management, succession planning, leadership capability building, and organizational development frameworks. Reporting to senior leadership, this role oversees FoodCo Academy, manages career development pathways, and evaluates the business ROI of learning programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Talent Management & Succession Planning: Execute annual talent reviews, create individual development plans (IDPs) for high-potential staff, maintain talent health dashboards, and build succession pipelines for critical roles.

• Leadership Development & FoodCo Academy: Design and deliver leadership curricula for supervisors and executives; oversee executive coaching and 360-degree feedback; and scale FoodCo Academy programs (e.g., Graduate & Management Trainee initiatives).

• Organizational Development & Analytics: Perform organization-wide Training Needs Analysis (TNA); design blended learning solutions; track learning analytics; and evaluate ROI using Kirkpatrick methodologies.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Education, Organizational Development, or a related discipline.

8–10 years of progressive experience in Talent Management, Leadership Development, or Learning & Development.

Minimum 4–5 years leading enterprise-wide talent or learning initiatives within a retail, FMCG, manufacturing, or multi-site organization.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree (MBA, MSc in HR, or Organizational Psychology) and professional certifications (CIPM, SHRM, CIPD, or ATD).
