Project Manager (Engineer)

Seven-Up Bottling Company (SBC) Limited—one of Nigeria's largest FMCG beverage manufacturers and home care producers (Pepsi, 7Up, Mirinda, Aquafina, 2SURE)—is recruiting a Project Manager (Engineer) for its central engineering team in Lagos State. Reporting to the Project Head, this technical capital projects position manages plant expansions, new bottling line installations, vendor contracts, equipment procurement, safety compliance, and engineering schedules across SBC's nine state-of-the-art bottling plants nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Execution & Line Installations: Coordinate multi-disciplinary project teams across civil, mechanical, electrical, and piping work; oversee site safety norms and equipment commissionings.

• Technical Review & BOQs: Review Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), analyze Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and ensure strict adherence to vendor contract specifications.

• Scheduling & Budget Control: Formulate project Gantt charts via MS Project, monitor project risks, prevent cost overruns, and escalate risk factors to the Project Head.

• Procurement & Vendor Management: Expedite technical equipment procurement, manage vendor milestone payments, and liaise with plant HR for site engineering logistics.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Academic Background: Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering.

• Mandatory Professional Certification: PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent project management credentials.

• Software Competencies: Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project (scheduling), and MS Office Suite.

• Operational Knowledge: Deep familiarity with beverage bottling operations, plant safety standards, civil/mechanical engineering designs, and contractor management.
