Account Payables & Receivables Executive

BrandCo Nigeria Limited—a retail management company that introduces high-street global brands to the urban African retail market—is recruiting an Account Payables & Receivables Executive for its finance and accounting operations in Lagos State. This core financial role manages vendor payables, invoicing schedules, client/store receivables, bank reconciliations, ledger accuracy, and cash flow tracking across the company's retail outlets and supply chains.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable Management: Process vendor invoices, match purchase orders with receipts, verify billing accuracy, schedule vendor disbursements, and maintain supplier ledgers.

• Accounts Receivable & Invoicing: Issue timely customer/retail partner invoices, track collection schedules, follow up on outstanding balances, and process incoming payments.

• Reconciliation & Financial Reporting: Perform routine bank, inventory, vendor, and store register reconciliations; maintain accurate trial balances and support monthly financial reporting.

• Compliance & Audit Support: Enforce internal financial controls, track tax withholdings (VAT/WHT), and assist internal/external auditors during financial reviews.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Academic Background: OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related numeric field.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Core Competencies: Cash flow management, double-entry bookkeeping, attention to detail, vendor communication, and account reconciliation.
