Inventory Assistant

Wholesale Toys Nigeria—a major importer and distributor operating across four multi-warehouse hubs in Lagos—is recruiting an Inventory Assistant for its primary hub in Idumota, Lagos Island.

This hands-on role bridges physical warehouse floor operations with digital inventory tracking using Zoho Inventory. It manages daily stock transfers across warehouses, conducts shipment verifications, clears sales draft invoices, and maintains real-time stock reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities

• Zoho Inventory Management: Maintain live stock levels on Zoho Inventory to ensure total alignment between digital system metrics and physical stock.

• Stock Transfers & Routines: Execute internal warehouse-to-warehouse stock transfers before 11:00 AM daily and draft daily transfer orders for management sign-off before 5:30 PM.

• Receiving & Order Fulfillment: Perform carton-by-carton verification of incoming supplier deliveries against purchase orders; pack and sign off customer orders line-by-line against invoices.

• Floor Audit & Showroom Operations: Conduct daily floor walks across showroom and retail sections to identify and replenish out-of-stock or low-stock shelves.

• End-of-Day Reconciliation & Reporting: Clear all draft invoices with sales reps before close of business and submit comprehensive daily inventory end-of-day reports to executive management.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience & Technical Skills: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in stock control or warehouse management. Proficiency with ERP/inventory software (preferably Zoho Inventory) and strong numerical reconciliation skills.

• Physical Capability & Punctuality: Physically fit for stock counting, lifting, and extended periods on the floor. Uncompromising punctuality for 8:00 AM start.

• Communication: Ability to post real-time operational updates across internal team channels and write clear daily stock reports.
