About this role
Sky Mall—a retail, entertainment, and commercial office complex situated along the Lekki-Epe Expressway in the Sangotedo axis of Eti-Osa—is recruiting a male Accountant to manage its financial operations, commercial tenant billing, costing, and tax compliance. Reporting to the General Manager and Executive Board, this role manages mall financial statements, tenant service charge audits, facility costing models, corporate tax filings, and budgeting across the main shopping center and commercial office extension.
Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Statements: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management accounts, and cash flow projections for the mall and office extension.

Tax Planning & Regulatory Compliance: Handle all corporate tax calculations, VAT, WHT, PAYE filings, and statutory reconciliations with federal and Lagos State tax authorities (FIRS/LIRS).

Tenant Ledger & Service Charge Audit: Manage tenant accounts receivable, utility cost allocations, lease reconciliations, service charge budgets, and audit reviews of commercial space operations.

Costing & Financial Strategy: Analyze facility operational expenses, carpark revenue streams, and cinema/retail concession margins to optimize profitability and mitigate financial risks.

Mandatory Credentials: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Accounting or Finance with full ICAN or ACCA professional charter.

Experience & Location: Proven track record in corporate accounting, real estate finance, auditing, or tax advisory. Must reside along the Lekki-Ajah-Sangotedo corridor.

Software Competency: Advanced proficiency in financial ERP software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, costing templates).

Core Competencies: Commercial property accounting, tax management, financial auditing, integrity, and analytical reasoning.
