Warehouse Manager
About this role
Synafare—a credit-led B2B marketplace and embedded finance platform powering Africa's clean energy supply chain (solar, HVAC, and EVs)—is recruiting a Warehouse Manager for its fulfillment operations in Abuja (FCT) and Kano State. This hands-on supply chain leadership role oversees daily warehouse intake, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, team supervision, safety compliance, and cost control across solar and clean energy technical equipment.
Key Responsibilities-
Warehouse & Fulfillment Operations: Oversee daily receiving, storage, order picking, and dispatch of clean energy inventory to ensure timely delivery schedules.

Inventory Governance & Stock Audits: Maintain real-time inventory records, lead regular cycle counts and full stocktakes, and resolve stock discrepancies.

Team Supervision & Safety Enforcement: Lead, train, and schedule warehouse assistants and forklift operators while enforcing Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.

Layout Optimization & Cross-Functional Alignment: Improve space utilization to minimize damage and collaborate with procurement, credit, logistics, and sales teams to align stock levels with trade financing schedules.

Academic Background: Degree (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience Baseline: 3–4 years in warehouse/inventory management within fast-moving distribution, retail, or industrial sectors. Experience with B2B trade finance setups, technical electrical hardware, or warehouse safety/forklift certifications is an advantage.

Core Competencies: Inventory management systems (WMS), MS Excel reporting, hands-on leadership, cost/shrinkage control, and workflow optimization.
