Education Associate

Ruebits—a values-driven non-profit child development and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) initiative—is recruiting an Education Associate on a remote volunteer basis. Operating under the organization's core Education pillar, this strategic role designs child-friendly learning frameworks, develops "Growing Together" SEL curricula, creates activity guides, and structures educational programming for the Ruebits Clubhouse and community initiatives across Nigeria and broader Africa.

• Curriculum & Resource Design: Develop engaging educational content, SEL activity guides, character-building modules, and child-friendly learning materials.

• Programmatic Structuring: Design structured learning experiences for Rue's Clubhouse, holiday camps, school outreach programs, and community learning sessions.

• Pedagogical Translation: Translate complex faith, leadership, and emotional intelligence concepts into simple, memorable, and actionable lessons for children.

• Educational Research: Research modern SEL methodologies, child psychology trends, and innovative teaching frameworks to expand Ruebits' educational impact.

• Academic & Professional Background: Degree or practical experience in Education, Primary/Early Childhood Education, Instructional Design, Child Psychology, or related fields.

• Core Skills: Curriculum planning, creative writing for children, SEL framework development, pedagogical adaptation, and program execution.

• Portfolio Assets: Demonstrable portfolio items such as lesson plans, educational activity guides, published children's content, or documentation of past youth/child programs led.
