About this role
Ruebits—a values-driven non-profit child development and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) initiative—is recruiting a Design Associate on a remote volunteer basis. Operating across the organization's core Entertainment and Education pillars, this creative role produces social media graphics, child activity sheets, comic layouts, brand assets, and event campaign visuals to deliver wholesome, faith-aligned content for children and parents.
Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Campaign Visuals: Create engaging graphics, carousel posts, digital banners, and promotional campaign assets for Instagram, Facebook, and digital channels.

Educational & Activity Layouts: Design child-friendly activity guides, worksheets, comic panels, and learning resources for the Ruebits Clubhouse that make learning intuitive and fun.

Brand & Event Collateral: Develop presentation decks, event banners, publication layouts, and brand identity materials to maintain visual consistency across all community initiatives.

Creative Strategy: Brainstorm visual concepts that translate Christian character-building and SEL concepts into appealing, modern media for children and families.
Requirements & Qualifications

Academic & Practical Background: Training or demonstrable practical experience in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Illustration, Fine Arts, or related fields.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with graphic design and digital media tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop/Illustrator, Figma).

Core Assets (Portfolio Required): Strong eye for typography, color theory, layout composition, and a portfolio showcasing graphic design, digital illustration, or child-focused creative work.
