Warehouse Manager

People First Consultancy is recruiting a Warehouse Manager on behalf of a leading renewable energy (solar) product distribution firm for its warehouse operations in Kano State. Reporting to the Supply Chain & Logistics Manager, this operational inventory leadership role involves managing stock flows for solar panels, inverters, deep-cycle batteries, mounting racks, and electrical accessories at the distribution facility adjacent to the Kaura Macaroni Factory in Hadejia-Kano.

• Solar Equipment & Inventory Management: Oversee the secure receipt, organized storage, systematic bin arrangement, and dispatch of high-value renewable energy equipment (solar panels, inverters, lithium/gel batteries, charge controllers, and mounting accessories).

• Stock Control & Reconciliations: Conduct weekly and monthly physical stock audits, reconcile physical counts with logbooks and inventory management systems, and prevent stock shrinkage or damage.

• Logistics & Distribution Coordination: Manage inbound shipments from suppliers/ports and coordinate outbound order fulfillment to regional dealers, installers, and project sites across Northern Nigeria.

• Documentation & Safety Standards: Maintain goods received notes (GRN), waybills, stock transfer forms, and material inspection reports while ensuring strict adherence to warehouse safety protocols and battery handling procedures.

• Academic Credentials: Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (B.Sc. / HND) in Business Administration, Logistics, or Social Sciences.

• Experience Profile: At least 3 years managing warehouse operations, stock balancing, and distribution workflows (experience in industrial goods, electronics, or solar products is an advantage).

• Core Competencies: Inventory management software, stock reconciliation, logistics tracking, attention to detail, strong team coordination, and resilience under pressure.
