Production Manager

Neveah Limited—a leading Nigerian commodity trading, solid minerals export, and manufacturing enterprise—is recruiting four (4) Production Managers to oversee daily factory floor operations for its plastic manufacturing and recycling facilities across Delta, Kano, Lagos, and Ogun States. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this full-time operational position manages daily shift planning, machine efficiency, capacity utilization, raw material consumption, scrap/waste reduction, and plant safety compliance across polymer processing operations.

• Plant Floor & Shift Execution: Direct daily factory production, manage shift allocations, and ensure output targets are hit within quality and safety tolerances.

• Process & Capacity Optimization: Track Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), monitor machine uptime, minimize production downtime, and eliminate material waste during extrusion, injection, or blow moulding operations.

• Equipment Maintenance Coordination: Partner with factory maintenance engineers to perform preventive maintenance schedules, diagnose mechanical/hydraulic breakdowns, and maintain machinery health.

• HSE & Quality Assurance Alignment: Enforce compliance with factory safety standards, partner with QA/QC teams to eliminate product defects, and manage production reporting metrics via ERP systems.

• Academic Credentials: B.Sc. or HND in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering + 5–8 years of plant floor experience.

• Technical Mastery: Practical knowledge of plastic manufacturing processes (extrusion, injection moulding, blow moulding, or recycling/compounding).

• Software Toolstack: Production scheduling software, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), ERP modules (SAP / Oracle / Odoo MM/PP), and MS Excel data analytics tools.

• Core Competencies: OEE management, production scheduling, scrap reduction, root-cause defect analysis, preventive maintenance planning, and factory labor supervision.
