About this role
Prestigious Consulting Group—a leading executive human resources and business advisory firm—is recruiting a Cosmetic Product & Business Manager on behalf of its client in the FMCG and personal care manufacturing sector in Lagos State. Reporting to the Managing Director and Head of Commercial Strategy, this full-time role combines chemical formulation oversight, NAFDAC regulatory compliance, contract manufacturing governance, and B2B commercial strategy to scale the personal care and cosmetics business unit.
Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Product Formulation & Launch: Lead product R&D from ingredient sourcing and lab benchmarking to stability testing, scaling, packaging selection, and commercial retail launch.

NAFDAC & Regulatory Compliance: Compile product dossiers, coordinate laboratory analysis, enforce Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) protocols, and secure NAFDAC approvals.

B2B Business Development & Revenue Growth: Expand departmental revenue by pitching contract manufacturing, custom formulation services, white-labeling solutions, and product licensing agreements to corporate clients.

Supply Chain & Vendor Management: Manage relationships with raw material chemical suppliers, packaging vendors, third-party analytical labs, and contract packaging partners.

Academic Credentials: Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, or Cosmetic Science + 5–6 years in FMCG / cosmetics product development.

Regulatory & Technical Mastery: NAFDAC registration procedures, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), ingredient compatibility, emulsion technology, shelf-life testing, and cosmetic chemistry.

Core Competencies: Chemical formulation design, go-to-market strategy, B2B sales development, product costing/pricing, vendor management, and product lifecycle management.
