Chartered Accountant

Ascentech Services Limited—a human resources solutions company dedicated to recruitment, outsourcing, training, and ongoing HR support—is recruiting a Chartered Accountant in Ibeju Lekki, Lagos. This role oversees financial reporting, accounting operations, bank and ledger reconciliations, tax compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and audit support.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Operations: Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and oversee day-to-day accounting transactions.

• Reconciliations & Cash Flow: Perform bank, ledger, and account reconciliations, and monitor accounts payable and receivable.

• Planning & Compliance: Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and Nigerian tax regulations.

• Audit & Documentation: Support internal and external audits while maintaining accurate financial records.

Requirements

• Core Competencies: B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; ACA/ICAN qualification (mandatory); proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

• Behavioral Attributes: Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with in-depth knowledge of financial reporting and Nigerian tax regulations.
