About this role
United Nigeria Airlines is recruiting full-time Senior Internal Auditors (SIAs). Based in Lagos, this role reports directly to the Head of the Internal Audit and Risk Management Department and leads advanced financial, operational, compliance, and special audits.
Key Responsibilities-
Audit Leadership & Execution: Lead and execute financial, operational, compliance, and revenue assurance audits, managing the end-to-end planning, fieldwork, and delivery of final audit reports.

Risk Management & Internal Controls: Evaluate organizational risk management strategies, assess internal control effectiveness, and identify operational vulnerabilities or potential hazards.

Operational Analysis & Revenue Assurance: Conduct operational efficiency analyses, review documentation, analyze complex records, and perform interviews across all organizational tiers.

Monitoring & Recommendation Tracking: Monitor implementation rates of audit recommendations, track significant findings, and support stakeholder engagement.

Degree: Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science, Risk Management, or Risk Analysis.

Professional Qualifications (Preferred): Advanced professional certifications such as ACA (ICAN), ACCA, CISA, CIA, CPA, CFE, CFA, M.Sc., or MBA.

Years of Experience: Minimum of 5 years of post-professional qualification experience in internal audit, risk management, or internal controls.

Core Competencies: Strong leadership, management, critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Software Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and standard analytical software.
