About this role
Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc (FMN), one of Africa's leading food and agro-allied conglomerates and makers of the Golden Penny brand, is recruiting a Human Resources Manager. This is a full-time position located at their Sunti, Niger State operational site, responsible for leading site-level talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and strategic HR delivery.
Key Responsibilities-
Talent Acquisition & Sourcing: Manage end-to-end recruitment and selection processes to attract, hire, and retain high-performing personnel across technical and operational roles.

Performance Management: Design, implement, and oversee site-wide performance appraisal cycles to drive accountability, goal alignment, and business performance.

HR Strategy & Business Partnership: Work closely with Heads of Department (HODs) to align human capital strategies with site operational targets and organizational objectives.

Learning & Development: Identify competency gaps and implement targeted training interventions to build workforce capabilities.

Employee & Industrial Relations: Manage employee relations, handle workplace grievances, ensure union/industrial harmony, and oversee adherence to labor laws and FMN HR policies.

Change Management & HR Analytics: Drive internal communication for change initiatives and utilize HR metrics/data insights to guide executive decision-making.

Education: B.Sc. Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related discipline.

Professional Certification: Mandatory professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, or HRCI).

Experience: 5 to 7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 to 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity (manufacturing, FMCG, or agro-industrial experience is a strong advantage).
