Project Manager

O.K. Isokariari (Nigeria) Limited—a premier Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) firm with over 50 years of experience executing heavy civil engineering and infrastructure projects—is recruiting a Project Manager for its operations in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. This senior technical leadership position oversees end-to-end site operations for major road construction, civil infrastructure, and commercial building projects. The role manages multi-disciplinary engineering teams, site equipment fleets, project budgets, and regulatory/client relations while enforcing international quality and HSE standards.

• Project Execution & Planning: Develop and control master project schedules, site work plans, and project budgets using software tools like MS Project or Primavera.

• Civil & Structural Site Operations: Oversee site clearance, bulk earthworks, drainage networks, paving, asphalt works, and structural building developments.

• Technical Oversight & Quality Control: Interpret complex technical drawings, specifications, and structural blueprints; ensure strict adherence to engineering standards and HSE protocols.

• Resource & Equipment Allocation: Direct the deployment and maintenance of heavy machinery, earthmoving equipment, material supply chains, and site labor forces.

• Contract Administration & Stakeholder Management: Track contract variations, manage cost controls, liaise with government regulatory bodies, and act as the main technical contact for clients and executive management.

• Professional Registration (Mandatory): Active registration with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and valid membership in the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in civil construction, with a strong portfolio of completed road networks and large-scale building projects.

• Software & Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera P6) and engineering software (AutoCAD); deep knowledge of soil mechanics, asphalt operations, and heavy machinery utilization.

• Leadership & Core Skills: Advanced budget management, site dispute resolution, contract management, and strong leadership under tight project timelines.
