Construction Project Manager

Ucalux—a construction and real estate development company executing residential, commercial, and industrial projects—is recruiting a Construction Project Manager for its operations in Lagos State. This senior leadership role is responsible for the end-to-end execution, schedule tracking, budget control, and contractual administration of high-value construction projects, acting as the primary management liaison with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

• Project Execution & Planning: Oversee end-to-end delivery of construction projects; build and maintain detailed master project schedules using MS Project, including critical path analysis, resource loading, and delay recovery plans.

• Contract Administration: Administer construction contracts (specifically JCT forms), managing variations, extensions of time (EOT), contractual notices, and valuation claims.

• Cost & Quality Control: Monitor project budgets, procurement schedules, cash flow forecasts, and material quality in coordination with Quantity Surveyors and Procurement teams.

• Stakeholder & Site Management: Lead client, consultant, and site progress meetings; coordinate Site Engineers, HSE personnel, and subcontractors to maintain time, safety, and quality standards.

• Reporting & Risk Mitigation: Prepare weekly and monthly project dashboards, performance reports, and executive updates while proactively identifying site risks and technical bottlenecks.

• Education: B.Sc. or HND in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Project Management, or a related field.

• Professional Certification (Required): Active certification/registration with relevant professional bodies such as COREN, PMP, NIOB, or NIQS.

• Experience: 7 to 10 years of experience successfully delivering medium- to large-scale civil/building construction projects.

• Contract & Technical Knowledge: In-depth working knowledge of JCT contract administration, variations, claims, and project cost controls. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project is mandatory.

• Soft Skills: High-level presentation skills, executive presence, and excellent verbal and written communication.
