Projects Supervisor

DreamCity Property & Investment Limited—a Nigerian real estate development and investment company specializing in luxury residential apartments, mixed-use developments, high-rise buildings, and commercial real estate—is recruiting a Projects Supervisor for its major project sites in Jabi, Abuja (FCT) and Lekki, Lagos State. This senior technical leadership role oversees the full project lifecycle of large-scale residential and commercial developments, manages multi-billion Naira project budgets, leads multidisciplinary engineering teams, and handles regulatory approvals with land and building control authorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Lifecycle Leadership: Direct technical and administrative workflows for multi-site high-rise and mixed-use developments from conception, structural design, and budgeting through to final client handover.
• Regulatory Compliance & Permitting: Serve as the primary liaison with urban planning, physical development, land, and building regulatory agencies across Lagos State and the FCT to secure permits and ensure full code compliance.
• Resource, Quality & Risk Management: Enforce rigorous Quality Assurance and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols on sites; implement project management methodologies to optimize resource allocation, manage project risks, and drive cost-saving initiatives.
• Team Supervision & Executive Reporting: Lead and mentor site engineers, architects, project managers, and technical subcontractors; present detailed progress reports, budget variance analyses, and KPI tracking to the Projects Coordinator and Managing Director.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Academic Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering. A Master’s Degree in a relevant engineering or construction management field is highly preferred.
• Mandatory Professional Certifications: Full registration and licensing with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a strong advantage.
• Industry & Regulatory Experience: Proven track record of managing multi-billion Naira real estate/construction budgets with deep experience navigating Lagos and Abuja building control laws and agencies. 
• Leadership & Technical Capabilities: Strong financial acumen, contractor negotiation skills, multi-project scheduling, risk mitigation, and team management capabilities.
